Worst experience of my life.. STAY AWAY. The owner is the nastiest person I have ever met. She’s beyond ghetto, just plain ignorant. As a former regular, she had the nerve to accuse me of having something that I never had and then insulted me because I wouldn’t agree with her for being wrong. Her attitude is atrocious, not to mention how stingy they are on meal portions. As much as I love soul food and the belief in supporting my people, I would die before I would ever go there again. They will be out of business soon because of horrible people skills.
Great Food. What can I say you win some, you lose some. The food is wonderful at 21 short stop. Maybe the ones who did not like the service nor the food, were you having a bad DAY? um!!!!

I live up the street from this place so naturally i was ecstatic to find there was a soul food place to open up around this area. I have given them 3 times to form my opinion. I just can not go back, my fav its ox tails and each time they have been not that great. Not to mention the customer service, they certainly don’t act like there happy to see you. I guess I’m just going to have to keep going all the way to Eisenhower and skidaway to Ma Randys, not just for the awesome food but they make you feel welcome.
Went there for the first time today and I was excited about going.All I wanted was ox tails lol. The young lady at the window had NO customer service attributes and not welcoming at all. I ordered the ox tails Mac and cheese and yams. The ox tails were good but not what I was use to. The yams had to much nutmeg and the Mac and cheese was pretty good. My husband got the fried chicken which was dry and the collard greens had a little grit and took much peppers. All in all we won’t go back. We will stick to Ma Ramsay instead
First time I visited over a year ago I was blown away by the portions of food served…couldn’t eat a medium plate by myself. Stopped in the other day and ordered a large plate for my wife and I to share and my how this place has changed. Portions are sadly very small for the price. Very disappointing…this place used to be a bargain, now it’s like anywhere else you eat, rude staff and small portions.
GREAT FOOD!!!!! The owner was soooo nice and appreciative for us eating there. We even went back and bought more meat and sides to go with our dessert. 🙂
