I have been to Johnny’s quite a few times over the past few years. I’m never disappointed. They have great barbecue! The portions are generous and prices are fair. Can’t wait to return!
BBQ & Bullets. My family and I have gone there for decades, sure it has changed hands several times, but the food is what brought us back time and time again. This is a true Country BBQ restaurant and store, which is amazing.The service sometimes varies, but is worth the wait. If you went there and did not get a waitress right away, you should have gotten up and went to talk to the owner, who is always there. Only place I know that you can get a great meal at a great price and work clothes and or bullets to candy. If you were offended by anything you saw for sale in the store, well all I can say is: Go somewhere else. We hope it never changes.

Guns and BBQ. One of my favorite BBQ places! On top of that, you can pick up a nice weapon from the owner who is an FFL gun dealer!
My bbq had little bits of some gravel like substance in it. It was below average in taste. The corn on the cob was not fresh and slighly discolored like it had been sitting in a pot of water for quite some time. The decor is pretty cool, but I don’t think I’ll be back.
Service Stinks. We have eaten here a few times. The BBQ is fair,have tasted better. This past Saturday we ordered thrift plate. Another waitress replaced the waitress that took our order. The salad was brought out,then we were totally forgotten about. Was sitting there,at least 20 minutes later & the crowd was gone,we were still without our order. The waitress finally realized we’d been ignored & brought our order. When we paid & were asked if everything was alright I said no. I expected our bill to be discounted,for the sorry service we got,to at least encourage us to come back. Didn’t happen. At best,all we got was a very insincere apology,to please try us again.
I Love this place!. The food is excellent! By far my favorite bbq place around! I love the staff and how quick the food comes out!! The best ranch dressing in town! I love the pork thrift plate and the ribs are great too! I think they should expand to marietta! I would eat there everyday if I could!
