I go to this place a lot on my lunch break because it’s right around the corner from work. I have never had bad food from here. Ever. I typically get a Bella chicken sandwich- which isn’t even on the menu anymore- but they still make it for me anyways. And aside from a few grumpy employees (I don’t blame them though, their lunch rush can get a little crazy) there’s one or two that are SO SWEET and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of.

Bread and doughy items not great. We arrived at ABC with high expectations which quickly turned to disappointment at bitter coffee, and baked items which we re not special.
Awesome. Ppp.In a city of insipid-if not downright dangerous-salad bars, ABC Bakery’s is a thing apart: gorgeously eclectic, culinarily inspired, effortlessly seasonal. When Mother Nature gives us juicy heirloom tomatoes, savory chef Ilene Rosen gives us delicious Cuban sandwiches. She also gives us French toast and a mildly spiced Baja Chicken Enchilada yummy, among too many other delectable things to mention. And once you’ve had your tofu-skin-and-edamame salad lol, you can reward yourself with a cup of peach sweet tea, signatures coffee hot or cold. Like its bear claw pastries, the ABC Bakery is a true original. Come sit down and by the way free wifi. Come ask for Victor tm.
