I pulled up and almost didn’t go inside. Boy am I glad that I did. The chopped pork and rib combo that I had was outstanding. Chopped pork was tender and non-fatty bits of perfectly smoked meat. The ribs had great flavor and the tell-tell sign of good BBQ, a real smoke ring. Neither meat was over cooked and the portion sizes were perfect. For the two sides I got hash (without the rice) and collard greens. I wasn’t sure what hash was but it reminded me of Brunswick stew. Very tasty. The collards were also really good. If you happen to judge this place on appearances, as I initially did, and pass it by, you’re truly missing out. Outstanding BBQ!

Awesome food!. LOVE THE FOOD! We are military and from Texas and have run into some REALLY bad que here in Georgia, but we found this place tucked away in the corner of our neighborhood and it’s the onl place we will go now! The staff is great, I love the family values they exhibit! Great Place!
The food was horrible, I’m not sure how people brag about this place. The BBQ was not very tasty and the Mac and cheese tasted like they poured a can of fake cheese over macaroni. I will not eat there again
Don’t be scared away by the looks of the place. It is one of the best kept secret barbecue joints in Augusta. Go for the delicious food and friendly service.
