Edgars is interesting in that it is some sort of training ground for chefs and staff. I don’t think I have had a consistent meal the three times I have been there. All though food was good something always amiss with one item. Pricey to gamble on.

We’ve been to Edgar’s multiple times and every visit has been very positive. The food is always fantastic, drinks are interesting and tasty, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgable. We’re always excited to return to see what new items are on the menu!

A rude welcome left a bad taste from the start. Then the bruschetta was absolutey flavorless with very out of season tomatoes. I like the foundation behind this restaurant but the unwelcoming service and bad food will not earn a return visit.

What a surprise!. What a great night we had. The hostess was really nice & when she heard it was our first time there told us all about how this is Goodwill’s first restaurant like this. It is so urban. Couldn’t believe we were still in Augusta. Food was great, from appetizer to desserts, drinks too. No problem with service at all. We will definitely be going again!

While understand the premise of the restaurant and commend Goodwill’s program, the service was simply unacceptable. A table of six, our dinner service took FOUR hours. A one instance, we waited 30 minutes without so much as a refill. The food and atmosphere were nice. The she-crab soup was the best I’ve had, but the service (or lack thereof) has done this this new restaurant in.

Hit or Miss. I’ve been to Edgar’s a number of times and the service is usually excellent, but I was disappointed with my last visit. There were long stretches of time when we were waiting, to an extent that is unacceptable even on a busy night. I am also pretty sure that someone in the kitchen accidentally gave me some kind of seafood glop instead of pureed parsnips (both similar in color I suppose) and I had a severe allergic reaction. In this case I think it was just bad luck because I have never had any problems like this during any other visits, but it was still amazingly bad. I am afraid to go back because next time I could go into anaphylactic shock.

Sunday Brunch. We held an after wedding brunch for 40 out of town guests at Edgars Grill. It was excellent; the food was delicious, service was awesome and atmosphere first class. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the event. Our hats off to Jason for coordinating his staff and chefs to create a perfect end to our wedding weekend!
