The place has run down a lot since I was last there 6 months ago. Many of the veg on the bar looked old, onions not cut up, no eggs anymore. Also they have no menu anymore aside from a couple appetizers. I got the banh mi croustini’s. They were plated sloppily, the plate was dirty, and the jalapeno’s missing. They were good though. You could also hear the cooks complaining of not getting tips and other work related stuff. The whole hour we were there, there were maybe 5 tables occupied the entire time, whereas a few months ago, it seems this place was rockin.

I’ve been a few times for work and with family. Atmosphere is nice, concept is fun, and food is good. Only complaint might be that more often than not the wait staff don’t check in periodically to fill drinks, etc. But I still plan to go back.

Had lunch…. Genghis Grill is a new restaurant in Augusta. Location and parking is good. The overall atmosphere is really nice and different. The theme of this restaurant is stir-fry that you either order straight off the menu or build off of a buffet type bar. The ingredients are fresh but I have to say that the shrimp and scallops were very small. For the price, you’re paying for the experience. I personally built my own lunch bowl using the firecracker shrimp recipe. The bowl was good, I just believe it could of been better.
