Fantastic Food. Honey from the Rock Cafe has the most amazing food & the fried green tomatoes are to die for, most definitely worth every penny. The staff was very friendly & attentive. Ill most certainly have lunch here again before leaving Augusta.
I would not return. The staff so wonderful, I had real silver wear, a real glass, and real napkins, served on a 3 section paper plate, not even the chinet size, it was the size you would find in a dollar store, Just being honest. but the food was good I can’t take that any from the cafe. what I had was cooked right then, I even purchased 2 extra sides to take home . I spent about $35.00 on lunch for 2 people. There are far to many choices in Augusta to go to that tastse good for less. Sorry
So-so. I am a transplant new to the area. I was happy to see a church run restaurant. Every church affair that I’ve attended, Where food was involved was a good time. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Becauseit was a church funtion it was also a great value. Because they used volenteers, they kept the price down and passed the savings down to you. I saw none of that at the Honey from the rock. The food was nothing special and the price, for what you got was quite high. While iI like the concept of the restaurant I will not be back.
Very good southern food and the friendliest staff. Don’t skip dessert – there’s a reason it’s at the start of the line!
Love this place. It’s pricey as far as lunch goes but you can’t beat the food and great portions and reliably friendly staff. Well worth $9.00!!

Good Food….Bad Price. This food is good. It is traditional southern cooking and the portion size is decent. The meal cost around 10-12 bucks per person and I think that is kinda steep for 4 oz of macaroni & cheese, green beans and a piece of chicken. The staff is great and friendly. The atomphere put you in the mind of a senior citizen home but overall its a pretty good place to go and eat.
