Excellent food. Glad I stumbled upon this place by accident because it’s some of the best local food in the Augusta area. Definitely will be going back for some of the cheesecake. Make sure and pick up one of the mix cd’s for some good tunes to go with the good food.

So Yum!. How can you not love a place that greets you with a free CD of their favorite songs of the month? I am so glad I chose this place to fill my belly in lieu of one of the chain restaurants I had originally set my sights on. My lemon pepper/buffalo wings were on point and my philly was perfect! Jackie, her son, and husband were so very friendly and inviting I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu. Go! You won’t be sorry 🙂 p.s. Red velvet cheesecake is one of my new favs!

Delicious food, obliging service, and homely atmosphere. A hidden gem.. ‘Double Fowl’ hot sandwich was delicious. The homemade fries are the best fries I’ve had–ever.’Red Velvet’ and ‘Classic’ cheesecakes were delectable, as were the homemade chocolate chip cookie and peach cobbler. (The peach cobbler and some of the classic cheesecake made it home where my neighbor emphatically agreed they were delicious and expressed curiosity about Jackie M’s.)The setting was warm and interesting (wall art, music); the service was friendly and obliging–the complimentary CD was a nice touch; and the prices were reasonable.Truly a hidden gem in Augusta.

I love this place!. While in culinary school a friend did her internship here and invited us to come visit. We are so glad that we did. We stuck to the wings and fries but had the assortment and were delighted to find that the wings each had their own distinct flavor and taste and the fries were crisp and spicy. Husband had a hoagie and while he didn’t rave about it he said the bread which was made fresh daily was very good but the fillings didn’t thrill him. Apparently Jackie has been doing this for many many years and she is very good at it. The Kool Aid is da bomb, nicely sweetened. This is a hidden gem in the Augusta area and yes they do deliver.

Just go.. My girlfriend and family decided to try something new and local randomly. The atmosphere is really laid back and down home. Literally a converted house. 70’s soul and R&B played while we waited and sipped some red drank.(yes; they have Kool-Aid!) It seemed most everything was homemade. Fries to rival five guys, homemade ranch, and awesome Philly sandwiches.I got the chicken soul rolls, which were chicken, cheese, and banana peppers fried to perfection in an egg roll. We’re definitely going back to check out the Jamaican patties and desserts; a couple of which apparently won some local awards.

Finally. I moved to the area a couple of months ago, and every time I go out to eat, I leave disappointed – nothing seems to do it, it’s too salty or greasy, or just plain. Not Jackie M’s. I think I’ve finally found someplace to get some good food, and they delivered. The cheese steaks were pretty good, and the wings weren’t too shabby either. The fries were tasty, and I can only imagine how good they’d actually be piping hot at Jackie M’s. And to top it all off, they gave me a free cd of the music they play in their shop – it’s almost as good as the food. If you haven’t tried this place, you’re missing out.
