We ate there last night. The flavor of the food was good. The amount of rice you get is a lot, but the amount of meat I feel was not worth the money. Like a previous review mentioned the veggies only consist of zucchini and onions. It’s a place where I may consider going for special ocasions but definitely not on a regular basis. You kind of pay for the show the cook puts on and not the food.
Get there before 6 on weekdays! The amount of food you get for the early bird special is crazy! I took a whole to-go box of food with me after eating dinner! The food was wonderful and the service was perfect! Try the ginger-based salad dressing…. It is so good!!!!!
Loved the cook and portion size!. I usually have a large appetite, so I ordered some sushi for a starter. the sushi was great, and when we got to the meal the teriyaki sauce was perfect and I got way more food than I needed. I had enough for 2 meals the next day.
This place is amazing. Great hamachi, great sushi, beautiful aesthetic. I always go when I’m in town. Prices fit the experience, if anything I would pay a little more.
Best Sushi in Augusta hands down!. My husband and I hit the sushi bar usually 2-3 a month. We have had sushi at almost every sushi spot in Augusta and hands down their sushi chefs are the best! Try the Avacado salad, baked mussels or seafood dynamite to get you started. The surf and turf is awesome, TNT roll and just about every roll on the menu! Sit at the bar for an extra treat! And they are super great with kids 😉 LOVE LOVE LOVE! (As for the other side I can’t say much, we only go to the sushi bar)12 Jun, 2014Best Sushi!. We have been dinning here for years! Best Sushi around… by far!
Make Reservations, and Bring a Fat Wallet. I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years, and Miyabi’s is something we usually reserve for special occassions, especially birthdays. I always get hibachi here; I’ve never had the sushi. Typically I get the teriyaki chicken hibachi, and it never fails to make my stomach hurt. It tastes wonderful, but usually by the time I hit the parking lot I am doubled over with cramps. I don’t really have a sensitive stomach, so I don’t know what the problem is–must be something in the teriyaki b/c I don’t have this problem when I order something different. I do love the Miso soup they serve before your meal, and the salad is nothing special, but it comes DRENCHED in salad dressing, so ask for it on the side. I don’t like that there are only 6 seats to a table and that you sometimes end up sharing a table with complete strangers if you don’t have a full party. It’s always packed on the weekends, so make reservations. Of course, the chefs usualy put on a great show, but the last time I went (with my 4 year old little brother), the chef did some half-assed tricks, nothing impressive. I haven’t been back there since. If I’m paying almost $20 a plate, the chef better put on an amazing show and the food shouldn’t give me cramps. There are better places to eat for special events.
I was there earlier tonight. They made an excellent experience for the guy i went with tonight on my date (this was his first time) i will go back but i didnt like the prices they are going up and up
