Favorite in Augusta. My experience has always been good and friendly service, and the food’s pretty good, too. I’ve never been disappointed in the menu food that I’ve ordered, and the lunch buffet is pretty good as well. I like the lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, and the fried rice. Not the best I’ve ever had in my life, but definitely my favorite Chinese in Augusta.

Based on other reviews I went for lunch. Pretty tasty…Gen Tao’s chicken my favorite. Egg Rolls good and spring rolls fresh & flaky. Wow hot mustard actually brought a tear to my eye. Hotter than other spots but didn’t stop me from using it again. Other items tasted fresh . Meatballs a little too done. Not a huge buffet but has the basics to fill you up. Server very friendly . Will be back…

The decor of the restaurant isn’t impressive, and the food served on the buffet during the day isn’t that great. But the restaurant is clean, the service is good, you get huge portions at good prices, and the food off the menu is delicious. It’s the best Chinese restaurant in Augusta. The general tso’s chicken is my favorite dish… spicy and flavorful and not sickly sweet like it is at other places. But the lo mein and mongolian beef are also delicious. I have a hard time forcing myself to try different menu items because of how much I love and want to reorder the things I’ve already tried. They also offer many flavors of bubble tea (an icy sweet drink with tapioca balls)… If you don’t mind the tapioca texture, which I don’t, these make for a delicious dessert. My favorite is the thai tea, but they offer a big variety… avocado, red bean, lavender, and lots of fruit flavors. Overall, I’d highly recommend this restaurant. If you want to pay more for far less food that’s also not as good PF Chang’s is right across the street. And if you want to pay for a buffet with a vast array of disgusting food there’s a hibachi grill/buffet right down the road. But I’d go with New Ming Wah.

The outside appearance of this restaraunt needs some improvement but don’t let that fool you. Their food is not only delicious and flavourful but it is also served in a professional manner. The servers there go above and beyond to make this moral one to be remembered.

Don’t be fooled by outward appearances. Their food is pretty good. I’d call it old school Chinese. I grew up eating at the location close to downtown, and later this location. I try to grab a meal there when I’m in town visiting family. I still love the Almond Chicken. It hasn’t changed since I was a child, and it’s a dish you can’t find on too many menus nowadays. Their pork fried rice and egg rolls are pretty tasty too.
