I’ve tried eating here several times, but it was always closed when I came by. (Normal lunch or dinner hours on a Friday or Saturday). No hours are posted. Today, the restaurant was open! It is a real restaurant! Per the clerk / waiter, the hours are Thursday to Saturday, 11 to 6. There is a lunch buffet, but apparently not on Saturday. The pulled pork was good plain, the sauce (hickory) was decent. The hash and rice was decent. The mac and cheese was good. The Texas toast was ok. The first bite of BBQ chicken tasted burnt, the rest were great. The brisket was good. Pepsi products are served, there aren’t many tables, but there weren’t many customers when we came and those that did got take out.This is a perfectly fine place to get some BBQ, and the 3 meat sampler platter is a good introduction to their offerings. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area, but, closing at 6, go for lunch or an early dinner.

Good food, service, atomsphere. Food is great and service is fast and courteous. The best part is? The friendly owner remembers his customers! 🙂 It is a nice homey feeling every time I dine here. Try out their rib plate with hash and rice! Unbeatable!
Great food. The white meat chicken was moist. Everything was great. I would definitely recommend this place. The serving size for $8 was more than enough. Meat comes with 2 sides and Texas toast. I will be going back again.

Best BBQ I’ve Ever had!!!. This place is hands down the best restaurant in Augusta – for BBQ or any other food. The first time I went there I got the ribs. I am very hard to please when it comes to ribs – can’t seem to find anywhere that makes good ribs. This restaurant surpassed my expectations. The ribs were smoked and tender – sauce was very flavorful. I was hooked on the first visit. I’ve been back several times. I think all the meats are smoked and slow cooked. Chicken is excellent, very moist. Best potato salad I’ve ever had. Homemade banana pudding was incredible. Price is good. Service is fast. Staff was friendly. Very family oriented and clean. You should definitely try this restaurant.
