Great Food! Friendly Staff!. My husband and I have eaten at Sugie’s more than once. I’ve had the smothered pork chops (gravy is delicious)….with mac n cheez and yams. The yams had good flavor. My husband likes the collard greens and he had the BBQ ribs. He said they were really good. I enjoyed the warm atmosphere and when the chef brought us our food, he actually presented it to us! I will eat there again, definitely. Good food that reminds me of home.
BIG DISAPPPOINTMENT.. UGGGG. I was amazinly surprised and disappointed. Today for the first time I tried Sugies Kitchen. To my amazement I did not get my money’s worth. I ordered my food online and had it delivered by 706 foods delivery in Augusta Ga. I ordered the following: Jerk chicken, fries, squash cassarole, broccoli cassarole, fried chicken wings & collards. The collards had no taste. The chicken and fries taste like they were fried in the same grease used to fry fish. The sqash was over cooked. The broccoli cassarole wasn’t broccoli cassarole. It was broccoli with melted cheese on it. The cost is also so much more if the food is ordered online versus sitting inside. The menu looks amazing… but the cook needs a few classes. Collards should not be bland and chicken should not taste like fish. I spent over $45.00 dollars and I wasted every penny. I was so overwhelmed by the menu that I wanted to try all the foods listed. The first impression is always the last impression. I would never recommend anyone eat here unless the cook takes a few more cooking classes courtesy of me. Im just saying I can get down like that… and I can prove it 🙂
Surprising. I just ordered from Sugie’s today for lunch through 706 foods. I must say, I was extremely surprised. I order the BBQ sandwich with fries, macaroni and cheese, and hash and rice. (You must have a minimum of $15 when ordering). The BBQ sandwich was good, and The hash and rice paired very well with BBQ. The macaroni and cheese was outstanding! Very much like good homemade baked macaroni you’d have at home. Their menu is a little bit of everything, but at least from my experience, the food is well seasoned and has very good flavoring. Will definitely order from them again!
My wife and I had the most pleasant experience with Sugies Kitchen. Saundra was right on point from start to end! The food was delicious and the staff was prompt and efficient! Our wedding day went smooth as planned! Our friends and family talk about the great tasting all the time. Whenever we go by Sugies kitchen to pick up lunch or dinner we are always greeted with friendly faces. It reminds of us of how wonderful our wedding day was. We can honestly say we have found a friend in Saundra and her staff! Great food, Professional staff, and reasonable pricing! What more can you ask for?
Great Food, Better Prices. This Place is amazing! Homemade Soul Food and Saundra treats you like a guest in her home. If you haven’t tried Sugie’s Kitchen than you are definetely missing out!
