We stopped for a late afternoon bite. Nice atmosphere and decent happy hour. Had a $2 PBR 16oz can and some fried pickles. It was a heaping helping of pickles and we had quite a bit left over. Also ordered two tacos…the southern comfort and the mani mani. I am not sure of there were just too many flavors at play but they were very rich. I can’t say they were my favorite…I guess I am a purist when it comes to tacos. This is a good place to try if you want to mix up different flavors and be a little adventurous with your taco choices.
Will not return… we have been here twice the first time I liked the nachos and fish tacos. This time we had the same nachos and a few different quesadillas and I had the trio dips. Nothing was what I would call good just average and also I tried the blood orange margarita. Something was bad because less then two hours after I was sick, the kind of sick you would associate with food poising. I won’t give more details however by this morning I was fine and I had nothing to eat three or four hours earlier and nothing after (that’s for sure). I’m not sure what exactly did it but no one else got sick and I ate and drank a few things no one else tried. My wife and daughter both questioned the chicken ranch quesadilla, saying it tasted a bit off so they didn’t eat it I did. Also the blood orange margarita was all mine no one had another or tasted it but I’m leaning towards the chicken.

I would describe the food and atmosphere as Tex-Mex Sports Bar. Lots of televisions, a bit noisy & decent food. We had various tacos – steak, shrimp & fish; southwest egg roll appetizer & house margaritas. Kind of reminds me of Chilis.
Great concept. Hip & funky fun here. Love the food.
