The worst!. This is by far one of the worst Mexican resturants I’ve ever encountered. While traveling you want the best food you can eat and my experience here was terrible. I ordered the spinach quesadilla with rice and beans. The quesadilla looked like they pour meat grease on it to give it some flavor, the rice was dry and hard and the beans were masked with lots cheese. The service even worse! Beware people of what you put into your body for nutritional purposes. When your food doesn’t look right don’t eat it send it back. That’s what I did and it cme back even worse. This place needs to be closed down before they hurt someone.
Better than most mexican food. Good quality beef. Jovial atmosphere. Generous portions. Always come home with extra. Fun staff.
Based on 31 JAN 14 visit. Decent Mexican food…the real problem is the service and the kitchen. On a busy night the place seems to empty of adult leadership and the standards in the food and cleaniness fall apart. The shrimp tacos, which on a Tuesday night are nicely grilled and tangy, on Friday night in a rush are barely microwave warm and slapped onto a plate. Tables sit dirty 20 minutes while people wait at the door. At one point the bar had more dirty glasses in it than than the bar back could wash and the bartender left the bat for at least 20 minutes, leaving the bar back to try to make drinks. bottom line: it is not a good place to eat on a weekend night.
I usually eat at the La Nop in Orange Park and love it. Same menu but the taste is not the same. I was disappointed.
Best bang for your buck in Richmond Hill. And the drinks are poured STRONG.
Typical Mexican restaurant in terms of atmosphere and menu. The food was edible. Typical day old beans and rice, beef was just north of nasty. My 5 year old got fries with his meal and for the first time in his life he refused to eat them. They tasted like somebody spilled windex on them, but I don’t expect a Mexican restaurant to hit a home run with fries. The only fresh tasting thing we ate was the salsa. If you want quick cheap garbage that emphasizes quantity over quality (and I mean this in a good way) then this is your place. A good Mexican restaurant in the savannah are remains to be seen.
Food was pretty good, great attentive service…worth the drive from Fort Stewart!
