I’m a believer. I believe in good food, good service, and great smiles. I get all of these at this restaurant since I first began my almost everyday eating out experience. This has become my favorite because you just can’t beat the selection for meats, veggies, and desserts. At first glance it doesn’t look like many choices, but look a little closer. You’ll find southern fried chicken, and baked chicken, every day. Then three or four of the following other meats like barbeque chicken, bacon wrapped baked chicken, fried fish, baked meatloaf, pork chops (sometimes fried, sometimes baked), liver and onions (ugh – not for me), stew beef and gravy, hamburger steak and gravy, and some I can’t remember, appear on any given day. I’ve read some negative reviews from a few diners, but thank goodness, I followed my own instincts and gave Southern Image a try. I would have missed out on the mac and cheese, the rice and green beans, the okra and tomatoes the different assortment of peas, mashed ptoatoes and casseroles, and of course the many desserts. It’s clean, comfortable, and the background music is perfect for me(the fifties, golden oldies to me). I speak with other customers (that’s just me) and I’ve never had one individual or one group say anything but high praises for their meals and service. If you arrive on Sundays, you might have to wait a few minutes to be seated, but it’s definitely worth the wait. If it’s good enough for the church crowd, it’s good enough for me. Just a note to those who aren’t familiar with Southern Image: Look over the top of the door as you are leaving.

We stopped for the lunch buffet. And all 4 of us enjoyed our visit very much. Place was clean. The ribs, chicken, and deserts were really tasty.
Good food and plenty of it but nothing great. If you want taste of South then this is it. Probably the best thing on the buffet is the fried chicken.
On our way home to Ohio after visiting Orlando. The absolute best buffet food. Best food we’ve had on our trip. Good 50’s music, too!
Great Home-Style Food. This is an unabashed southern buffet – excellent fried chicken, liver & onions, pork chops and all the usual sides. Several cakes and 2 puddings for dessert. A great alternative to the world of fast-food for the I-95 traveler.
Simply Suberb. I eat at Southern Image on a regular basis. I have found the food to be superb. The menue varied, just like a fine southern cook would prepare for his/her family. I enjoy the fried chicken, the bar-b-qed chicken, roast beef and all the vegestables, the deserts are heavenly. TheStaff very helpful and willing to please. I havent found a more pleasant place to eat. I strongly recommend this as a place to enjoy a good meal.
