Probably the best I have had in my life! Casual ambiance with a short and crisp menu. Love the huge brick oven in the center. I ordered the Margherita with some pepperoni on top. Hand stretched fresh dough , especially imported from Italy, and then topped with the tomato sauce, basil leaves, garlic, pepperoni and mozzarella. Loved the simple flavors and the texture of the base crisp from the outside and then nice and soft at the center was pretty amazing! When in Atlanta this place is a must must try!
Service was amazing quite the place where you can sit next to people and carry on a conversation pizza was absolutely perfect crispy yet chewy crust toppings or extremely good the value is phenomenal truly a 5
It’s a cool place, not that fancy, but who cares when you taste the best pizza in town! The dough and the combination of flavors is really good. You won’t get bored since you will be able to watch the chefs doing their magic.
Best pizza I have ever had plain and simple. Quality ingredients served in a rustic cafeteria like atmosphere. Would instantly come back.
My Love and I went last weekend and tried the Margherita… THE best pizza we ever had…period! Not cheap, but it helps that you can bring your own drinks; after we ate we walked across the street for a scoop of gelato, a Cannoli and cappuccino. Delicious! We’ll be back!
We generally do not like Pizzas in the US. Too much cheese for our liking and somehow it just doesn’t gel with us. But going to Antico was a revelation that we could expect great pizza here, We ate the veg one and would have preferred if the guy at the counter would have told us about the free toppings. We ended up paying for the free ones which were available at the cutlery counter.Service was excellent and so were the people.The environment is fun, the crowd very appealing.Highly recommended place!
Great Pizza, Fun AtmosphereThe place looks kind of like a warehouse. Inside it is a lot more promising. You order at a rather chaotic counter. Then you head into a large dining room where you sit at picnic tables in the same space as the cooks and their pizza ovens.For a busy place, the pizza came amazingly quickly. We had the San Gennaro which was delicious. Wine and a variety of soft drinks are available. If you want dessert, they have a gelateria across the street.Simple and mighty good.
