Our office relocated to Midtown around Dec 1. We welcomed this place as our new lunch and happy hour destinations. Frequently got the wrong orders for group lunches and surly attitudes at happy hour. We got off early on NYE and went in for a drink. Found out they were closing that day. Bartender couldn’t/wouldn’t tell us the new spot…. Made us go to the register for the first couple of rounds of drinks. Weird place. Felt like they never wanted us there. Don’t care where they open. I won’t go back. V
Classic lunch spot. Quality food, broad selection of classic choices, reasonable portions, friendly serive, and an outdoor deck. great lunch spot. only wish they used normal names for the sandwiches. 9/10
Carolyn’s Boremet. This place is boring. It’s right next to my work, so I’ve unfortunately been a few times. Each time I ordered something different, but was still disappointed and still spent way too much money for a blah lunch. It’s a Midtown working people’s lunch hub and there’s absolutely nothing special about it. Even if they halved their prices I still wouldn’t go back. It’s just boring. I really don’t know what else to say.
Positive Lunch Food. Went there with a group from our meeting. We ordered and waited about 5 minutes for the manager to finish chatting on the patio to ring our order (and that was only after an employee notified him)Aside from that, the food was good. Portions were good, and the wrap was tasty – a buffalo chicken wrap. Noticed they have free food during happy hour – tacos and pizza on differing nights. Worth checking out.
College Discount. Not only do they have all you can eat wings, Tech students get a discount on food and drink! Friendly staff and good food.
