My husband and I were leaving the SEC championship game tonight (Roll Tide) and we stopped at Jamal’s on the way back to our car. We ordered 10 hot wings and fries which were made to order. Can I say that it just may have been the best wings and fries we’ve ever eaten! The service was great and super friendly. We had to wait for them to cook but it was well worth it. The price was amazing as well. Absolutely recommend if you’re in Atlanta any time soon!
Fresh & HotWe stopped in for a snack and the smell made us order more than we intended.Located in a little trailer in a parking lot in front of a pizza shop and across from the new stadium, it isnt really a likely place for good food. We ordered at the window and were told to return in 15 minutes. Since they pretty much only serve wings, you would think that they would have some ready for a final addition of a topping. Anyway, we returned in 20 minutes and I still had to wait at the window for an additional 5 minutes. 25 minutes is long for something as straightforward as chicken wings that restaurants will typically get to the table in 10-15 minutes. And standing around in a windy parking lot makes the time go by even slower.We at the wings in our vehicle since everything is to-go. We had ordered 15 wings and got 5 each of the lemon-pepper, sweet and sour, and barbecue. All were really good but we probably liked the sweet & sour best. We like tart things, but the lemon pepper tasted like someone had doused them in ascorbic acid. Dipping them in the leftover barbecue sauce balanced them a bit.I wouldnt go far out of my way to go to Jamals. But I would go again if I made sure to bring a newspaper with me to read while waiting.

The wait was worth taste however they forgot my fries and I had to go back good thing they wrote order on box as they didn’t remember. I will be going back and verifying my order before I leave.
