Poor Behavior From Staff. I thought I was visiting a Southern restaurant with class. I arrived at the restaurant with my son excited. I walked in an immediately asked the hostess what was the process for placing a to go order. She points me an my son to the bar to place our order. I noticed the bar area had some tables and chairs surrounding it. However you can still see it is a private bar area. The bartender was nice to my order and gave my son some bread and juice while we waited. I paid for my food and added a tip for the bartender. I ordered an appetizer and two entrees on my to go order. The bartender did an awesome job of checking on the status of my as well as me and my son. I noticed another waitress walking around the restaurant who seemed unhappy and looking at me and my son very awkward. She rushed to the back of the restaurant but I did not think twice about it because she was helping the customers who were seated. The next thing I know the manager comes from the back and ask could my son and I move to another table still in the bar area. Before I could move the bartender was approaching with my food. I would never return with my son to dine in or place an order to go. I would never recommend my family, friends, or colleagues. There are many more restaurants in Atlanta serving the same dishes with friendly staff, great management, and kid friendly.
Treyue. If you like microwaved bread and week old sides this is the place for you. The food on a scale of 1 to 10 would be a 2. Not happy with the quality and will never go back. I live for some good soul food. Tasted more like roasted rubber chicken and microwaved corn souffl that was made from previous dried out corn bread. Mac and cheese and the fried green tomatoes were the only things that kept my wife and I from walking out. Management was no where to be found. My opinion folks only. I’m sure they may have items that are more palatable but no luck for us this round. Bad enough to write a review you guys need a cook or a new chef. Teach you how to reheat food or not serve it when it’s old or bad. Never microwave bread turns it to rubber. Ok I’m done.
