I’ve eaten at this supposedly traditional Mexican restaurant several times, mostly when meeting friends in the Atlantic Station area. The food is reasonably good, however the prices seem high, especially for the portions – I think you’re paying for the location and the interesting sculptural walls. The table-side guac is worth getting if you eat here – flavor it up to your liking – it’s like making it from scratch at home. Love the stone mortar. I take mine with lots of jalapeno and extra lime, extra cilantro.Servers seem well trained and nice – the hosts are fairly snooty and I think they see too many out-of-towners and have become bitter. At least that was the impression I received the last couple of times dining here. The real shining star in this establishment, however, is the pomegranate margarita. Wow – very tasty with a pink hue and tones of alcohol – be careful with this drink as it’s very deceptive – 2 will get you buzzed and 3 can be too much. If you let it set by your plate for a few minutes you’ll see it begin to separate – tons of alcohol in this delicious drink.Try the tres leche if you want a dessert treat (you may not after calculating how much you’ve spent, especially if you’ve done 2 or more of those margaritas a piece). I dug it. independentrestaurantreview.com

I expected a terrible experience going to a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server Ramon was great and very attentive even though the restaurant was full. A manager even stopped by to talk to our table. I had the salmon and it was great! Will be back!

Great atmosphere!. This is a great place for girls night. The guacamole, margs, and baja tacos were delish and fresh! The service was seamless and the atmosphere was so fun.

Non-authentic/overpriced. My friends and I decided to come here for lunch and were very disappointed! The food was warm but almost cold. The chicken was not fully cooked and the quesadilla was dry. The rice cilantro mint rice was not good and did not taste like Mexican rice, it tasted like Chinese rice. The sauces on the enchiladas tasted like Italian tomato sauce. Overall this was not a Mexican authentic restaurant and the food is by no means worth the price. That was the first time and last time that we will visit that place.

NEVER AGAIN!!. My Ex and I decidedto go here since it looked upscale, and we were highly disappoinoted! We both did the 3course meal and didn’t enjoy any of it. We ended up spendingabout $60 and left hungry. We literallymay have had 2 bites off of everything we ordered. The food was horrible we will never go here again. The only thing they have going for them is a nice atmosphere. Will not recommend to anyone!!

Rude. Their bartender is rude, no sense of customer service! Over priced, one shot is $10

Atlantic Station Rosa Mexicano I was verbally assaulted and discriminated against by the Manager. Last night I was with my good friend at this Horrible Restaurant. We weren’t looking to be full, we just wanted a simple meal of nachos. Red flag #1 They were out of Nacho’s and Queso what kind of Mexican or Spanish restaurant do you go to where they do not have queso dip or where they don’t have nachos. Red flag #2 The waiter smelled of cigarettes and lacked knowledge of menu items and he was not concerned about presenting us with great customer service and he never greeted us. He practically slung refills at us and spilled water in the chips and salsa they gave to us. When it came time to order our meal, instead of the nachos, we decided to go with the quesidillas that were 8$ listed under the appetizer section, and then I asked if it came with steak and cheese and the waiter explained the ones we were talking about were not even listed but he could have it made. When he returned with the meal, the quesidilla’s were hot at first and within seconds became cold. When he brought us the tab, it was exactly $40.99 and of course we were very disturbed that a simple appetizer turned out to be the price of two full entree’s, desert, and appetizer for two people. Completely disgusted with the overall service , the waiter even admitted he was wrong and gave a crappy apology. We asked to speak with the Manager. The Manager approached us with the intent to create a scene, He displayed poor problem solving tactics, and he was very threatening. I was calm in letting him know exactly what happened and he replied with you should have known that when you order and expensive protein like steak it would cost more. I explained to him that most waiters will let you know about an additional fee for those types of additions, and what we ordered wasn’t even shown to us on the menu, so I said how did you guys even factor it out to be this much. The manager became very irate, aggressive, and belligerent. He was waving his hand in my face and he was yelling. Then he said I am calling security right now, He called security and we said that is absolutely fine. My friend and I were racially profiled and discriminated against us. He assumed by our skin color we were just going to leave with out paying, we let him know that the price was not the issue. The issue is you presented us with an overpriced meal we never asked for, then instead of resolving the situation you wanted to treat us like criminals based off of the assumptions because of our color, you believed we wanted to walk away with a free meal. This was not the case, the police officers proceeded with caution and basically told us go forth and pay for the meal even-though it was not our fault. I have never been to any establishment whether its shopping or fine dining where the manager is the one who is behaving ignorant and disrespectful towards the customers until Rosa Mexicano Atlantic Station Atlanta Ga. I have never been so scared in my life because the manager was posturizing with his body to attack me, he was all in my face and he was yelling. I felt comfortable when the police came but I feel that if anyone has had a similar experience whether if it was this restaurant or any establishment should speak up and don’t let this happen to anyone else .
