The Optimist has an impressive take on modern gourmet seafood. The service was delightful and definitely helpful. This is a great place to arrive a little early and have a few drinks in their lovely outdoor area. It was obvious that the food had been carefully prepared. The Crispy Spanish Octopus was spot on. That’s right I just said Octopus. For the main course I chose to go with the Maine Lobster Roll which was packed with flavor. The salt and vinegar chips were a delicious sidekick to the lobster roll. Over all the food was great but not the best bang for your buck.
