Had a great brunch here. The company crab cakes with grits. My daughter had French toast. She wasn’t pleased with the amount but it was good. Everything was delicious including my Mimosa. I’ve have the wings here before and they are great. I will be going back.
The Pig & The Pearl has great atmosphere and genuine staff. The oysters and oyster happy hour are great. A nice variety and great flavor. The manager and staff acknowledged me from a prior visit. This was my 2nd visit during a quick business trip. I returned here versus trying other restaurants in the area due to my experience the day before. The manager , Marco, is friendly and genuinely interested in feedback about their food and service. He and his staff created an excellent experience. The catfish and hushpuppies need some work, speaking as a Texan; but, everything else I had was very very good. I enjoyed the restaurant, the atmosphere and staff. I would definitely return and recommend others try it. I also love the area. It appears to be an upscale Urban new development with lots of restaurants and shopping to try. Also convenient to the metro and hotel. Plan to come again my next trip.Tamara from Texas
