Thrilled to find frozen custard in Atlanta. A wasted trip to Star Provisions today turned out to be a boon: I discovered Vintage Frozen Custard at 1021 Howell Mill Rd, (in the first block north of 10th Street). The owner of the groovy food truck of the same name now has a matching bricks and mortar location that is appropriately nostalgic feeling, complete with Order and Pick Up walk-up windows. Open just a month, there are a few kinks to work out with staffing (i.e. speed of service), but the salted caramel sundae was divine. Just the right combination of salty-sweet-gooey-creamy. I’ll be back!
