Not a good place to be…. Whatsoever, nothing I have ever picked up here has been memorable. Just a tired, bland and boring selection of baked goods in an environment that is far less than pleasant to spend any time in. You can do better, just about anywhere.
WOW is it 2011?!?. I have been hearing about this bakery from different people in the area and decided to stop by and try it today. Walk in, no ones up front thats cool I dont mind looking I haven’t decided what I want anyways. Not long after we are there an elderly lady comes from the back. She didn’t greet us hi how are you, hi welcome,, no nothing. Just pretty much scowled at us(husband and I). So I said hi this is the first time we have been here , still nothing just more scowl like she couldn’t wait for us to leave. Soooo finally it hits me. Is this old lady prejudice?!? I’m white and my husband is Japanese. I really don’t look for this stuff but this woman made it pretty obvious. Didn’t say a WORD to us took our money and greeted the customer behind us, whom was white.. thanks land’s bakery for my one and onlly visit. You can say what you want I don’t know what the ladies problem is/was. If I had a business I would be happy for the paying customers regardless of what my personal problems are. Over all experience good product, horrible customer service and attitude.
