Wonderful food, great atmosphere and service. And as for the bakery… Really enjoyed alpine and I’ll be back. Well worth the drive if youre looking for authentic Italian food made properly.
Amazing food and great service – we’ll certainly visit again.
Being from New York and coming from a family of bakers who are leading bakers there. I am so thrilled to find a bakery that bakes with natural ingredients. And being Italian trust me the food is outstanding
Will NOT Go Back!. At 5:00 I called in an order for 2 pizzas. There was so much background noise that the person had me clarify my order 3 times. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived there 20 minutes later (traffiic) went to the counter and was told it wasnt ready. Then they asked me to pay and only charged me enough for one pizza. I asked the counter person what my order said — it was only for one pizza. I asked him to change it to two (since it wasn’t ready anyway) he did. (I thought) 30 more minutes go by A different girl comes to the counter and asks me what I am waiting for I give her my name and she brings back ONE PIZZA. (which was cold) Again I said there are supposed to be two. She says — rudely– well there arent and if you want another one it will be another 15 minutes. Terrible, terrible, customer service. I have been a customer of theirs since they first opened in their old location many years ago, but I will never go back. And I was not hte only unhappy customer in the lobby that evening.
Disappointed. Friends love this place. I’ve heard that the pizzas are good, but it was just plain odd. I ordered chicken francesca – normally a light white wine and lemon sauce – savory. Theirs was sweet, It was inedible. I’ve never sent a dish back in my life, but my dining companion took matters in her own hands when she saw I wasn’t eating. The staff gave me the choice of another dish. I ordered eggplant parmesan – it came with a fried egg on top! Really weird. I ate around the egg. It was okay. Not worth the price, When the bill came they charged me for BOTH entrees! Not exactly awesome customer service. $60 for an awful dinner. I’d never go back.
Don’t go to the Alpharetta location on Wed. evenings. The food is good but what keeps me coming back is their wonderful wait staff. They have a great crew working for them at the Alpharetta location however I now avoid and refuse to give them my business specifically on Wednesday evenings. This is solely due to the impersonal, rude, and unprofessional manager that works on Wednesday evenings. I have personally observed her demean her staff in front of customers, interrupt conversations between the staff and customers, and ignore customers. I was there recently on a Wednesday early evening contemplating having dinner but when that manager arrived, interrupted my conversation with one of the waitresses to bark out that a larger group was arriving, she made up my mind for me and I walked out without placing an order. I spend a lot of money at this restaurant and am considering taking my business elsewhere permanently as a result.
Best pizza. The vintage pizza is very good! Lots of flavor. Staff is friendly. Calamari was bland.
