My boyfriend and I are at ceviche regularly. We usually don’t mind if we have to wait for a table on crowded nights. This particular Friday night we both had worked late, and weren’t dressed up, we didn’t look homeless, but you get the picture. We arrived at 9:15- There were two Tables available and the hostess would NOT seat us because the (four tops) were for bigger parties! She could have separated the tables. The hostess was NOT nice at all. It was unfortunate that she felt our buisiness was not welcome because we intended on racking up a huge bill. I am really disappointed in how the whole thing went down. Tisk tisk ceviche.
Decent Mex on Canton. First time dining here. I had margaritas here before and they’re pretty good. Overall the food was good. The tortilla chips were warm and fresh, the salsa had good flavor. I had a pollo burrito, it was prepared well and best of all was fresh. My wife had the fish tacos – you get three of them, which is much more than she needs so I did have one (not as good as my burrito, but still fine). The place is tiny inside and was packed, so don’t plan on a laid back, relaxed dining experience. Outside dining is a great alternative here, but of course, only on warmer days.
Very unprofessional hostest.. My husband and I were very excited to finally enjoy this restraunt with friends from out of town and had raved about how the good reviews and wonderful atmosphere. We found the comments made by the hostess were very rude and assumptive. Having waited tables myself in the past I know that professionalism is a key part of customer service. Very disappointed in my experience and will be reluctant to attempt to eat here again, especially with so many other great options so very close by. Very disappointed. 🙁
Meh. I love ceviche, but thought the offerings here were kinda bland. Service was good. I don’t mind paying for quality, but hate being feeling nickel and dimed at restaurants. I ordered a side of guac and the 2oz ramekin cost over $3? That’s just silly. I doubt I would return.
Poor management and service.
Wife, our 2 yr old, and I ate at Ceviche and absolutely enjoyed the meal. The chips and salsa where fantastic and super fresh/crisp, queso and pork app served with flour tortillas was great and (along with some of our dishes) ended up being enough food for our sons lunch, steak tacos solid, and the chili rellenos were tasty. Service was pretty good especially for a Saturday at 1PM.
Love Ceviche! BEST salsa and margaritas in town! They’re figure friendly conscious too…try the Skinny Tacos, served in lettuce cups…delish!!
