The ribs are adequate, but nothing that I would have to go back for. The mac and cheese tastes like it’s from a mix and the cole slaw is pretty bland. The most impressive thing about Dreamland is the service, which is very fast and friendly. I leave full, but a little disappointed with the food.
Just Ok. We had the food catered for us. The food was just ok. The lemonade tasted like water with a little bit of lemon flavor. I’m pretty sure it is not real lemons they use to make it – possibly used some powered stuff.
2 strikes & you’re out. I gave Dreamland 2 chances, and the bottom line is:Big dollars for unsatisfactory pork. I’ll not go back again.

THIS PLACE CHARGES FOR WATER. I recently went to Dreamland with some out of town guests. In the past I usually order takeout about twice a month but we decided to eat there this time. When I got the bill there was a charge for 6 of us having water and it was water from the sink. When I asked the waitress about the charge, she said that she has been there about six months and the charge has always been there. She stated that she could not remove the charge and the manager stated that it was a directive from corporate. I know that we used to be in a drought and there was a watering ban for lawns, but to charge customers for a glass of water is totally insane.I will probably wind up going to another bbq place for takeout and definately not going to eat in the restaurant. I wouldn’t want to be charged for a glass of water when I am waiting for my takeout to be ready.
Not The Original Location That’s For Sure. Dreamland BBQ is my favorite BBQ place on the planet; at least the original location is. I visited the one in Roswell today and it was good, just not exceptional like the humble original. I will visit again before I give it a thumbs up or not.
Won’t be going back. Food…. Won’t be going back.Food OK. Service was great. Management has no clue. These guys feel that that $10.95 is not enough for half a rack of ribs so they feel the need to charge for WATER. Yes. Water. My daughter had water with her meal and the check had a charge of $0.15 on it! Seriously. I questioned my server who confirmed it’s a corporate policy. I’ve eaten here quite a few times but won’t go back. Not because of the $0.15, but because of principal. No one charges for water. It’s the staff who lose out. It was a Friday night and the place was pretty empty. Wonder why?I’ll go to Swallow at the Hollow or Williamson Bros where I won’t feel like I’m being ripped off.
