Collard Greens. Best collards ever! Always so tender with just the right amount of vinegar. No meat either.22 Oct, 2014Any Fish Special with Lemon Chive Butter, Cheese Grits, Collards and Cornbread. I could drink the lemon chive butter. The fish specials are always fantastic. Portions are huge. Best cornbread in the South (forgive me Grandma).
Not so good!. We took family here. The room was drafty and the wait too long. Over a hundred dollars later…some of the food was cold and needed to be sent back. The whole experience was awful. Great Comfort Food. The food is always consistent and good. This is an eclectic mix of comfort food with a healthy flair. No lard only good oils used to prepare foods. We have been patronizing since 1st year Bill opened!!!Great Food and Service.
I won’t ever go back… the food is good however, I left with a Headache and my ears were Ringing when I got home. Can’t see Spending that much $$ and NOT ENJOYING THE ATMOSPHERE!!! 🙁
We have been wanting to eat here for a while so we tried lunch today. Service slow and parking is a nightmare! Enough room to serve 150 but only enough parking for 20. Sat down and waited a bit long for someone to take our order. While waiting, a waitress walked through our room carrying an order to someone’s table and I’m guessing from the smell of it, it was fish. It smelled horrible! It stunk the whole room up! Food is ok but nothing to write home about. Not what we expected. At least I can say we’ve tried it.
A great place to enjoy memorable Southern Food. Go here. Eat. Leave stuffed full of great Southern food and have a to-go sack in hand for lunch tomorrow.
The Good and the Bad. Had dinner recently at Greenwoods and the food was good but overpriced. And the waitresses need to tell you what the specials cost that they spout off. This is not the kind of place for $25 entrees and the customer shouldn’t have to ask what each special costs – it should be stated unless you’re trying to hide something.
