Awful food!. I’ve been here twice recently and both times have been severely disappointed in the food. The first time dining there, I ordered a barbeque ranch chicken salad. I prefer the ones hands down at Chili’s, Cheesecake Factory, and Smokejack any day over theirs. The second time I dined there, I tried their barbeque brisket sandwich and French onion soup lunch combo. The soup was good (standard). However, the sandwich was awful due to the meat quality. I will say that it did come with some homemade potato chips on the side that were really good. I ordered their banana’s foster cheesecake and it tasted awful. I don’t really understand how you can mess that up. My friend ordered their crab chowder and it was inedible. I’ve heard from others that I made the mistake of not ordering steak when eating here, but I can assure you that I won’t be going back to give it another chance.
Still going strong after 25+/- years – but?. Very consistent food with excellent service and atmosphere.I visited 5/18/2013 with a group of 19. The service was excellent, but the Outlaw Ribeye was well below the the quality I expected. I hope this was the exception and not the new rule for this location.
Good Service. Part of a 5party, I had the fire grilled T-bone with upgraded asparagus. Oh, and the caesar salad with sweet tea. The steak looked great, grill markings, medium looking on the inside and sitting in steak au jus.The steak was hard to cut, hard to chew and was dry. The mini asparagus was hard to cut, hard to chew and dry. The sweet tea was good, I had several glasses.The wife says the ribeye was full of grissle. The sweet potato was good. The blue cheese salad, an upgrade, was an upgrade because of the $1.50 worth of bacon crumbles.The daughter said the chicken strips were good; I had one, good taste. Her fries were not as hot as they should be.The service was great.
Best Service Ever. If you have grown accustomed to poor service from waiters/waitresses, visit the Longhorn Steakhouse on Mansell Road in Roswell, GA.I have eaten in the bar, and in groups in the diningroom, and I have always had exceptional service. The servers refill beverages when you need it, but they do not continually interrupt your conversation. There have been occasions where the server anticipated my group’s needs, and he proactively met the need without being asked.I am certain that there are some bad servers at this location, but in all of my times to visit for lunch or dinner, I have never seen them. I continue to visit this location because of the exceptional service.
Not the same. We have been going to this Longhorn for many years. After they remodelled this location it was better than ever. However, something has changed in the last few months. The service and food quality have definately slipped. We will go back because we hope that things will return to normal.
Great food here! Great steaks, nice and tender! Serves is ok since the last time I went. But still good place!
New Entrees – Delicous. Last Saturday I for an appetizer my dad and I shared the shrimp and lobster dip. It was very good, it would have been nice if there was more meat but it was still good. Then we both had house salads which were also good. But for my main course I had the Crab stuffed fillet – medium rare. It was delicious. Probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. It came with a side of mixed veggies which were also very good. Our check was a bit on the heavy side but we did order a lot of great food. Definitely worth it.
