MMmmmmmmm!. This is my favorite BBQ in the area. Succulent ribs, melt in your mouth brisket, moist and delicious chicken and flavorful pulled pork. From the bare bones bench seating to the hubcap decor, this is a no frills, hole in the wall place. It’s located off the square in Roswell right across Sloan Street from the Convention and Visitors Bureau. They have basic sides like fried okra and hashbrown casserole and make a delicious Brunswick Stew. I’ve never had room for dessert, but I hear their banana pudding is popular. Be prepared to leave smelling like good BBQ smoke, toting away half your meal to eat for later.
Can be very good. sometimes.. Been twice. Both times the ribs were excellent. Brisket was really dry the second time. Both times the pork has been pretty dry. Sides are a waste. There just aren’t many good places to get BBQ in the ATL metro area.
Worst service ever!! food was ok. My family and I were spending the day in the park and decided to get ribs to go, and have a picnic at the park, we ordered our food to go and 2 seconds later we order two beers while wating on our order, the guy at the register told us to wait a minute while he placed our order in the back( i dont understand why) , we stood at the register waiting for him for 15 mins!!! he never came back, we sat outside hoping he will bring the beers to the table but that never happened, after 20 more minutes we still have no beers and no food, so my husband went to the register again and the food was sitting there who knows for how long!!! he didnt tell us the food was ready, so we asked about the beers and he sent somebody else, someone the same race as us, we had the beers and ordered something else and that never happend eaither,,, i asked what happend he did not apologize just said he was bussy, but he was doing nothing,we spent an hour and a half on somenthing that should be done in 30 mins….we felt very disrespected by the guy at the counter. Not only did we have and extremely long wait, the food was also a disappointment. My husband and I will not be returning to this restaurant but also be telling our friends and family not to as well.
Tasty BBQ at a Sweet Price!. I really enjoyed my BBQ chicken sandwich. The fried okra is killer! It’s a must-have! The BBQ sauces are nicely done, too. Very casual and inexpensive place. Some outdoor dining essentially in the parking lot, but nice enough when the weather’s warm. Good sweet tea is a bonus.
Real smoked ribs St. Louis style tender and meaty pulled pork sandwich is a good call as well. I will go back.
Not so much…. Had lunch for the first time at Spiced Right Ribhouse today and was really looking forward to ribs. They’re a ribhouse…right? They only had one rib to offer; St. Louis style. Strike 1. My friend ordered the combo plate with brisket and the ribs. The sides were the fried okra and hashbrown casserole. The brisket looked like it was re-heated from the day before and even then, the fat had not rendered. The ribs were big and meaty but had no seasoning. The hashbrown casserole is their version of mac n’ cheese…please have mac n; cheese instead. I had a pork sandwich that also had no flavor. I don’t think they dry rub their meat with anything. The coleslaw I enjoyed as it had some dijon type mustard in it that gave it a nice tang. The beans were nothing to write home about. All in all; there are better BBQ places to spend your money.
They know their barbecue!. They smoke up a great meal! Love the brisket and the baked beans! Texas style barbecue!!! 🙂
