BEST SUSHI & HIBACHI. I’m very picky with my sushi so i had to describe what exactly i wanted in my roll & i loved it but then my husband ordered the volcano roll & it was AMAZING ! now i’m addicted & the price was just right ! also , the hibachi is SO good . kinda wish they gave more scallops when you order but other than that , it’s amazing as well ! LOVE this place & thank God i live right next to it (:
OK Sushi…….Once it Made it to the Table.. A Friday sushi dinner at Tokyo Boat. First time there. When I saw pretty much all the hibachi tables and the sushi bar full, I thought we’d have a long wait for a table. Luckily it was only a few minutes. We were taken to a second dining room in the back. On the way, we saw a white board that listed a promotion where all the sushi was 30% off. Good deal. We sat down, ordered some drinks and looked over the sushi menu. When our server brought the drinks we ordered a few rolls. That’s when the waiting began.Our server came back once early on to check on us, then she seemed to go missing for I’d say close to 30 minutes. A few other servers would pass through the other dining area but not ours. We were getting pretty hungry. When she came back, we had to order salad and some Edamame as there was no sushi in sight. Those came out in a few minutes. She came back and said the food was coming. I then noticed there was only one sushi chef working for the entire restaurant. I guess we weren’t the only ones taking advantage of the promotion. I saw other tables anxiously waiting for their food. When our food finally arrived, I checked with my wife and it was close to an hour since we had ordered. The sushi itself was good but it surely wasn’t worth the wait. Friday night + 30% off sushi promotion + 1 sushi chef didn’t add up to a good evening.
Expensive, sloppily prepared, over-cooked and very small portions, even by Japanese standards. They seem to model their hibachi offerings after Benihana, which isn’t very good. The haru maki was awful. Did I mention that it is expensive. Definitely not worth the price.
Had a groupon but they have hibachi specials for $12. Not romantic, but kid friendly. Even my dad, who is 65, retired & very picky liked it! He had steak & shrimp hibachi/ chef was entertaining. I had edamame & sushimi deluxe- fish was fresh & delicious! Husband had spicy tuna roll- yummy! And filet & scallops. Good food! Doesn’t seem very busy the past 3 times we’ve eaten there, so hope they drum up more business so they can stay around. Will definitely be back!

YUM!. We have had many hibachi dinners here and it has always been fresh and delicious. The staff and chefs are friendly/service oriented and have made our experiences fun and a worthwhile family experience. The sushi: Having lived in NYC for many years and being a regular sushi/sashmi consumer, I have always been apprehensive about raw fish while living here. This is the freshest, tastiest fish I have come across in Roswell. I now do regular take out sushi lunches. We love Tokyo Boat!
Fabulous!!!. Took my family to Tokyo Boat last night for my son’s 28th birthday. My 2nd visit. The hibachi and sushi were amazing, Best I have ever had. Hats off to this restaurant! Highly recommend! And they have a fab special right now, $11.99 for a full hibachi dinner, salad, soup, rice, vegies & choice of 2 meats/seafood. I think the special is only for December. We will definitely be returning!
