This place is an old school staple in SSI. The place hasnt changed much since i was a kid…They have really good shrimp and grits. The kids love their battered fries and hushpuppies. We also ordered the shrimp dip as an appetizer and it was goid.

We were looking for a casual seafood restaurant with a hole in the table for shells and the Crab Trap is the real deal. We had the She Crab soup good with lots of crab but a thinner broth than we had hoped. We had soft shell crabs both fried and broiled so good. Had steamed shrimp that were a good size and were perfectly cooked. The non seafood eating kids had chicken tenders that were thick, tender and crispy. They enjoyed corn on the cob with really good fries. The waitress was extremely accommodating and friendly. Authentic island seafood experience will definitely go back at least once next year when we visit again.
