We called to make a reservation about a week ago for 12 people to celebrate a successful breast cancer surgery with our family and friends and made a reservation for 3/24/18 at 6pm. Our breast cancer survivor felt ill due to her medication the day of our reservation and we called about an hour before the reservation to change the time for the same night or reschedule. The lady who answered was extremely rude about our cancellation. We told her why (and apologized) and she said I cant believe you are just calling now with an very clear and obvious attitude. Then, as we tried to explain further she just hung up the phone. We would have loved to reschedule but now I dont think we will ever eat here. They should be ashamed of their customer service. 0 stars if I could.
Always wins high acclaim for one of the best restaurants on St Simons Island. Good atmosphere but rich tasty dinners. Bit disappointed that no starch was served with the steak special. Salads were served within minutes of ordering, immediately followed by our entrees. However, that made us feel rushed and we had little time to converse. Server never asked if we were interested in dessert, losing a possible up sale.
