Aldo’s Sandu Springs. Took me 8 years to finally find a gem of an Italian cuisine. Aldo’s in Sandy Springs hits the spot!! From greeting to dessert, Mr. Massoud and his staff were non stop service and of course the food was phenomenal, my family was totally satisfied, won’t go over what we had but it was 6 different dishes and i tasted everyone and fell in love. Look at the menu and order, don’t worry, you will love it to. Highly recomend!!
Fabulous Rehearsal Dinner Party!. Aldo’s owner is a master host who hit it out of the park for our rehearsal dinner of 80 late June, 2014.We were from Colorado with the responsibility of hosting a dinner party in Atlanta. Massoud was delightful to work with from start to finish. He was so accommodating, so ready to provide the kind of experience we were wishing. Our guests were very complimentary of the food, service and set-up. Our party was set up in the large room with a screen for a digital slide show. The food from appetizers to dessert was delicious, the service over a 4-hour party was graciously attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere was most appreciated. I give Aldo’s high marks!! Great Experience. I had tried another Italian restaurant nearby, but could not get seated. This place was only a few minutes away. I was seated immediately and received great service throughout the meal. Great food and atmosphere at a good cost.
The salad and the rolls were decent, but that is where it ends! Our family ordered the Veal & Chicken Picata, Chicken Marsala another pasta dish. All I can say is I literally would have told them to take them all back as they were terrible. The unfortunate thing was my parents had to pay for it. I’m not a food snob nor have I written a restaurant review before, but anyone who says the food is good must somehow be related. On a good note, the server was great!
Authentic Italian cuisine. I drive by this restaurant at least twice a day and I never took a chance to stop by and try it !! Being Italian and growing in a house eating Italian food almost every day sets your standards a little higher! So we finally decided to try this Italian Restaurant for my girlfriend’s Birthday and BOY, this place blow me away.We started Calamari for an Appetizer and it was cooked to perfection, the marinara was well balanced and spiced right. For my entree I took Alex word on the special which was the Grouper Franchaise and my girlfriend had the veal Romano. Both entrees were great if not perfect, Alex got us a piece of Tiramisu and it was fantastic as well.I usually don’t rate restaurants online but but tonight experience, it was the least I can do. PS Ask for the server Alex when you visit, he knows his stuff.
When over there about 2:30pm after sit down on the bar start looking for rewiew about the place I got scary after read a few but it was to late so I give them a try and guess what the food it was good , nice staff I spoke with the owner for few minutes nice guy he give me a dessert for free definitely I’ll be back. Price it was average $10 for a entree I ate chicken with amaretto sauce delicious !!!
Over Rated…over priced. Been here twice. The food is over priced for what you get and the mark up on the wine is beyond reasonable. Better off going else where unless you like to waste your money.
