NEW OWNERS – STAY AWAY. This place used to be amazing no matter what you ordered. Now they can’t get it right. Undercooked pizza with disgusting toppings, sauceless flavorless wings. We are so disappointed. Any rateing prior to a month ago is null and void. DO NOT ORDER!!!
Good alternative to chain pizzas. Found this place because of a ScoutMob coupon and I am glad I did. The people here are so genuinely friendly that I had to do a double take to be sure I was still in the Atlanta area.I ordered the Greek pie and was rewarded with a tasty crust that was properly cooked. The toppings were just right, not too much, not too skimpy. My co-workers descended on me and all agreed that it was way better then the generic chain pizzas or Johnnies.My one complaint was that the Feta cheese they use (must be cow since sheep would be much more flavorsome) was not noticeable on the pizza. I could see it but not taste it.Pluses: Local business. Really tasty food and insanely friendly people manning the counter.Minuses: Need more Feta. Show me the Feta!I will go back and have no problem recommending the place.
Probably the most amazing pizza I have ever put in my mouth and it was cheap. We went with the deluxe and the sausage was to die for. (This is coming from an ex vegetarian.) Definitely more of a carry out or delivery place, but without a doubt a must try. I will absolutely be returning!
Love it!. This is the best pizza spot in Atlanta. After eating their pizza (everything made fresh) all other pizzas just dont compare. It’s worth every penny!!!
Great gourmet pizza !!!. I just moved to sandy springs three months ago. i was lookinf for pizzeria and i found it on the internet. i was not sure that if it was going to be good decision. but after i placed a delivery order, i was very satisfied. this was amonth ago. since than i m addicted to their pizza. actually not only pizza but also their gyro sub is my favourite:) thank you for providing excellent food for us. keep doing a good work !

I discovered Atena Pizza tucked away in the Hammond Spring shopping center and boy am I pleased by this hidden find! They’re small because they only do takeout and delivery. The pizza is so good and the owners are very serious about only using fresh vegetables, sauces from scratch and handmade dough that’s prepared daily. Atena is run by a husband/wife team who are such genuinely nice people, you can tell they really care about their customers. I love this pizza!
