Great find!. We’ve been struggling to find a good non-chain restaurant in Sandy Springs, and we found it! Excellent and friendly service, delicious food and portion sizes that are worth the money made us wiling to return soon! The shrimp, scallops, and blue cheese chips were delicious.
Great food and service. Best crab cakes in town! reasonably prices and great service.
Best crab cakes in the state of Georgia. I grew up in Maryland!!
Fantastic. Found this place just by looking for a new restaurant on the internet. The menu looked good and we were not disappointed. It’s really great going to a restaurant where you feel like their priority is to make you feel very well taken care of from start to finish. The lobster risotto was truly amazing and the grilled artichokes were a good start. Overall, the staff was efficient and helpful and it was clear the owners were interested in making sure we had a good experience. I highly recommend this restaurant
Unbelievable. I am on a 30 day tour of 20 cities for work, trying a new $$$ restaurant each night. I’m on night 23 and in Atlanta. I chose Brooklyn Cafe because it was highly rated and close to my hotel. Anyways the point that I’m getting to is that I’ve had some really good food and service in the past few weeks but tonight was easily the best– on both fronts. I had the special, Ahi tuna, with mashed potatoes, green beans and a tomato. The flavors were subtle and delicious. It tasted incredible without being soaked in butter or spices, just good ingredients. Then I finished with the key lime pie, which made me laugh after every bite it tasted so good. My fish was slightly overcooked but I wasn’t going to tell anyone; however the waiter eventually got me to admit it and promptly had it remade. I was introduced to the owner by a friendly pair of regulars at the beginning of my visit, and when he heard my fish was overfilled he came by, apologized, delivered the new fish himself (which was perfect in every regard), and bought me a beer. Even though I’m just a punk in my early twenties, I was treated like the President. I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review; Brooklyn Cafe was a hell of a find.
One of my favorite restaurants. My husband and I dine at Brooklyn Cafe about once a month or more. Every time we go we are never disappointed. The staff knows us well enough , that when we arrive our favorite glass of wine is waiting. Jeff, the owner, always stops by to say hello and lets us know about an upcoming wine dinner or charity event. Its just a great addition to the sandy spring neighborhood. thank you
