You can find this location of Galla’s Pizza at 1155 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30338 in the shopping center at the intersection of Mount Vernon and Perimeter Center West (right where it transforms into Abernathy). It’s at the end of the building on the upper North side. While Galla’s to me isn’t fantastic pizza, it’s definitely worth trying as I think many will like the options and ability to order slices – something you don’t see much outside of Fellini’s. I like to experiment with slices to find that just-perfect combination. Try a slice of sausage, jalapeno and pineapple, for instance. Or do something basic if that’s your style – it’s all available here. You’ll get a hit of pizza and parmesan when you open the door – love that.I’ve tried some of the other menu options, like the wings and subs. While they are all good, basic fare, the lemon wings are exceptional (if you like that style) – they’ll do them up crispy. I’m usually more of a buffalo style guy but the lemon here are the bomb.I basically work across the street a block at Northbrook so this is an easy walk. You order at the counter at Galla’s and the pizza comes out quickly. It can get a bit messy at busy lunch times as there isn’t that much space up front but you get that at Fellini’s too. I’ve only been here once in the evening and it was very laid back – not a bad place to get snacks and have a couple of brews. independentrestaurantreview.com
Beer. The beer selection is alright even if the food sucks17 Mar, 2015Not so good. I came here for the first time for lunch. I ordered a beer and 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. the beer was fine, the service was short, but nice enough. The pizza was not good. It’s grocery store frozen pizza tasting. The dough was flat, the cheese was actually pretty good, but all in all it was bland…

Had Gallas again for a party and I am blown away at just how good the pizza is because Im not even big on pizza eating. The 2nd time was just as good and stamped this place in my mind as one of the best pies in Atlanta. The Meatza Pizza is the name of tge meatlovers pizza and it is perfect. The Crust is just right in texture, the sauce is balanced just right with that natural tomato sweetness bursting in every bite, the meat’s are cooked to the perfect temperature with each meat’s flavor standing out and the cheese is layered on perfectly to hold everything to that crust. Wherever you are in Atl, this pizza is seriously worth the drive to come eat.25 Jun, 2013A friend of mine ordered pizzas from here and they were very good. So far I can say they have the best tasting Meat Lovers pizza I’ve had. The crust was just right, the sauce and cheese ratio were balanced and the meats, peperoni, sausage, ham & bacon were cooked crisp and were all really good. Most meat lovers pile on too many meats And don’t toast them in oven long enough leaving and oily loose pile up of a pizza. This version was really good and I look forward to having it again.
Terrible Customer Service. I’d been ordering delivery online from Galla’s for over a year. I always had good food but never dealt with anyone directly. Today, there was a mistake with my $52.00 order. I called to tell them that my chef salad had only lettuce and cheese. Before we even talked about corrective actions (refund or a new salad) I was told TOLD by THE OWNER that he saw the chef make the salad and it was made correctly. (But that’s not the deal breaker.) I explained to him that I too am looking at the salad in front of me with no meat and no other toppings. He went on to say he’d rather lose my business the correct the problem. I’m totally stunned and will NEVER EVER order from them again. And of course, I will be telling everyone I know about this. DON’T ORDER FROM GALLA’S… they just want your money and do not value their customers.
Bad Lunch!. Stopped By for lunch, what a waste, ordered the buffalo chicken salad, consisted of greens, box croutons, a couple slices of tomato, cheddar cheese and One dried out chicken tender for 7 bucks. I know what your thinking, should have ordered pizza, after all it’s a pizza place, but this does not mean they should over look the food quality of other menu items.Next time I’ll go to Chick-fil-A that is in the same shopping center.I’ll stick to Hearth in SS for Pizza.
