You negative folks are CRAZY. Some people want to be negative no matter what they see or do. I will say this, I’ve traveled all over the country and to date this is the BEST deli I’ve found in Atlanta. Their service may be less than desirable, but the food is well above average if your expectations for delis is proper. When you get the huge portions on sandwiches you are really rivaling Carnegie deli size, and it is way more than any healthy man should eat.
Service is awful. Food is decent, but nothing special.
Gruby’s Review. We like the food here. My husband loves the fatty corned beef on rye. I love the turkey rubin on rye. He loves the potato salad and cole slaw. I love the cole slaw. We eat here about once a month.
Great Place! Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about!. Wow! I am very impressed! I ordered a to-go at 12 in the middle of the lunch rush and my food was ready in less than 5 min. People are upset about parking and it is a small lot with a Moe’s and Great Wrap’s so of course it might be hard finding a space. I got the Matt’s special and it was melt in your mouth good!!! My Boss suggested the deli to me and its on the expensive side, but it’s worth it because of the quality. Service was also very friendly!
Jamie. This place is over priced and over rated. They should be ashamed of their chopped liver. It was more like a pate or worse yet, a dog food! The chicken noodle soup is watery and the noodles are the thin spaghetti noodle type, not the wide flat egg noodles. Any real NY deli on the east coast would be out of business in a day if they served what Gruby’s serves. Oh ya, what about serving some bagels? White, wheat, sandwich rolls? Are you kidding?
