AMAZING garlic knots!. I used to love Ippolito’s when I was younger. My family and I would dine at the Duluth and Norcross location often before the Duluth location closed down. Since Sandy Springs is where some of our relatives live, we’ve been by here a few times in the past. While my tastes have definitely stepped up a notch ever since I started my blog, there’s one thing that Ippolito’s has that many other restaurants don’t & that’s their AMAZING garlic knots/rolls-served hot, steaming and topped with delicious parmesan cheese. Way better than your typical Olive Garden breadsticks (not that there’s anything wrong with that) & served with a fresh bowl of tasty marinara! I’m a carb fiend and those rolls are to DIE for! So much intense garlic flavor, I love it! As for entrees, you can’t go wrong with their calzones, lasagnas, and baked zitis-great prices & free refills on those garlic knots! YUM! 🙂 bellavivere.blogspot.com

I’ve lived half a mile from the restaurant for three years, and just tried it for the first time tonight. I am kicking myself! It is a great restaurant! The complimentary garlic knots are AMAZING, service was great, and my calzone was delicious and soft, with obviously very fresh ingredients. I will definitely be back. The only criticism I would give is that they need to make it a little more exciting from the outside. We genuinely thought the restaurant was closed until we drive right up beside it and saw that the door was open. It was a shock to walk in and see fifty plus people dining when it looked closed from the outside.Overall a good restaurant and worth trying!!

Going Down Hill. It is close and used to be a favorite place. However, lately the food has been so so and more often the food is not hot. The rolls are almost always mildly warm at best. Service has gone down hill and they are slow.

The young hostess with long, blonde hair has a horrible attitude. My party of 10 walked out after encountering her, which was quite embarassing, as they were guests from out if town. I will n.ot return

Generic italian or whatever u call it. Nothing special but portions are good.

Yum. I can’t speak for the entire menu, but the vodka sauce pasta dish that I had was tasty and the complimentary garlic bread that they serve is addictive!!
