Amazing Place!. Nice place, to spend time with family.
New Years lunch. We ate at Persepolis today and the service was awful.!! We had to wait forever for a waiter to come who never came and then the owner came and took our order. His attitude was poor and seemed bothered. There was one hard-working young man who was cleaning the tables and at the same time serving the appetizers. My food was burnt and not once did Anyone ever ask if we need anything else. It was an hour long lunch from hell. Take your money and your business elsewhere. On the other hand we have eaten numerous times and Rumi’s kitchen which is up the street. We wanted to try something different but we will never be back. Don’t waste your time or money at Persepolis.
Belly dancing, Great food, friendly staffs, reasonable price. I’ll definitely recommended.
Don’t go to Persepolis!. Don’t waste your money here folks…go down the road to Rumi’s! Rumi’s doesn’t charge you for extras and they don’t rush you out of the place to seat waiting customers.
This place is exceptional for dinner, and very good for lunch. The dinner service and food are great and the pricing is very reasonable. Lunch is a buffet, but still good. They take reservations for dinner and always seem full on weekends so I suggest making one. There are several Persian places nearby but this has become my favorite.
Cold Lunch Buffet and Bad Service = Persepolis. Went in for the lunch buffet today and unfortunately was not impressed. I heard alot about this place, but the food was on the low-end of most persian restaurants. Roswell Road is packed with persian restaurants and one of the oldest is Persepolis. The buffet had two stations, one cold and the other one cold(should have been hot). The kabobs and kubideh were cold and lacking taste. Most of the other items were half full and also cold. There was no bread in the basket and no wait staff. I was lead to my seat and that was it. No one came back to check if I need any bread or anything else. Place was kind of empty and the wait staff consisted of two lazy people who kept sitting at the bar. Save your money and eat elsewere!
My first Persian food experience, I have been hooked ever since. I prefer to go to the lunch buffett so I can get my favorites, the koobideh kabob and ghormeh sabzi for the best price. Sometimes they don’t have ghormeh sabzi on buffett and when they don’t I feel like half the experience is gone. Ghormeh sabzi is my favorite Persian dish(so far anyway), and I like it so much I had to learn how to make it and I made it until I got it down to a science. Well worth the price at Persepolis, and try the rose water and pistachio ice cream.
