For a place open for almost 40 years, this place feels like they quit trying to be authentic a long time ago. Not bad. But theres plenty better out there. I ordered a Chile relleno. Came as a sizzling plate of cheese, ground beef and poblano strips. I ordered enchiladas poblanas. The sauce is green. I was hoping for mole sauce. Nope. Wasnt bad, though. Rice was perfect. My dining companion ordered steak. Below par; not even marinated. You order steak in a Mexican restaurant for the flavor. Very little.So bottom line: cheap, less than authentic, lacking flavor.
