Smoking Mecca. When I say smoking, I mean cigarette smoking — not hot or fabulous. From the smoking patrons that sit at the entrance of the restaurant to the waiter who sneaked outside periodically to take a puff, the place reeked of smoke. Needless to say, service was slow and at times we couldn’t find our waiter. Food was mediocre and you have to pay for chips and salsa. I had a Teela Margarita on the rocks which looked and tasted like there was orange juice in it. It was not a good experience and we would not go back.
Great music, and service was great for us. They charge for chips and salsa. Gauc is above average, cheese dip is above average, elote is great. Bang bang taco was tasty and buffalo chicken wasn’t. Interesting tacos though. I’ll be back to try more.
McDonalds for the Subs. Terrible margaritas, Ok service, lousy fast food, it’s just outside the perimeter, but really, the tequila list and wine selection would at least that would make up for the food…but it did not, lousy drinks and food…there is a pizza joint there that has better food. Watery queso dip learn to make your cheese dip first, thick and hot, not with water.
This place has some very unusual tacos, but they are very tasty! This is a great place for a very informal meal. Not your typical Mexican restaurant.
Way too many diced onions for me. In the soup, on the soup, in the salsa, on the tacos. That’s about all I could taste.
We do like the food here … The service is just plan bad. My wife’s cocktail is full and my beer is empty and she clears 50% of dirty dishes and dies not even ask if I need another. The we flag down for another round and she stil leaves the dirty dishes. Ugh.
