A great upscale in Savannah. The service was fantastic and top notch. The food was modern American with neat southern twists that made the meals feel at home in this fine southern town. There was not a bad plate at our table.

The best fried okra I have ever had. The best shrimp and grits I have ever had and that includes my own. Great service and a great menu and ambience. This place surprised me in terms of how good simple ingredients can be prepared and presented. A few little twists and the palate has been expanded. Glad I went there!

My son and i ate there during restaurant week last year and he loved it so much he requested Alligator Soul as his choice to celebrate his 15th Birthday!!!! He especially loves trying the exotic things on the menu. Thanks for a special evening!!!!

Lovely atmosphere. Way overpriced. Entree plates look like appetizers for $32. Leave broke and hungry.

I’m guessing from past reviews that this place had some growing pains in the past. I would say they have been ironed out. Our experience was fantastic. They have a service model where everyone pitches in so we never wanted for anything! All the staff were amazingly knowledgeable and went to check on things they could not answer. The persimmon glazed scallops were perfectly cooked and the risotto was creamy and savory, complemented by shard. We had the house smoked charcuterie plate. Amazing. Loved the rustic chic/masculine vibe. We were pleased with everything!

Love this place! Pricey, so we can’t go often, but the food never disappoints!!
