Excellent restaurant with great atmosphere, great location downtown by city market and Broughton street, and superb creative food. It is a little upscale and one of our party was asked to remove his baseball cap. Another came in shorts and felt a little under dressed (they didn’t make him remove his shorts). You don’t have to wear jacket but nice denim would be a minimum. The food was so good. We started with an appetizer tray of good European cheese, crackers and bone marrow….mmm…you scrape the bone marrow out of the bone and spread on Cramer. So good! I ordered the special for dinner which was Kangaroo! It was served medium rare, basically just seared on outside. It is comparable to a steak but a little gamey. The sauce was perfect. Service was great. I’d recommend this place for an upscale foodie place in the heart of downtown. Just head down the stairs from street level for an elegant meal.
