My husband and I just left behind one of the worst brunches since arriving in Savannah 30+ years ago. We ordered the salmon and eggs dish which arrived promptly. The fish and potatoes were very overcooked and the biscuits were crumbly. Silverware and condiments arrived piecemeal after requests. My husband’s fish resembled a piece of leather and was replaced as we were getting ready to leave. We will not be back nor recommend for anything other than getting a drink or quick tapas in the evenings. Bar Food’s prices are high for the quality of food.

A friend an I went to bar.food on a Tuesday night after hearing good things about it. We sat at a table, intending to order some food, but tables to both sides of us were unpleasantly loud. Add this to an already loud bar and a preciously hip, insincere crowd, and it was unbearable. We drank our drinks and left. The service was fine, the malbec I drank was good. The food looked delicious, but I wouldn’t know.
