Used to be great! now… not so much. I used to love this place and maybe this was just one bad day… but I went here for lunch with a friend and everything was cold.. including the beans and chicken. The chicken was also pink. We were over charged and when i asked for a receipt it didn’t have anything on it besides how much I paid. I also got about 4 chips for my queso dip.
Best Service in town!. I just wanted to take a second to let you know how pleased we are with your location on Habersham in Savannah. Each and every time we eat there we are treated with a greeting, a big smile, and a funky sense of humour. We came in today amidst the lunch rush with the line almost out the door and the staff didn’t seem a bit stressed out and were taking the line one guest at a time, making each person smile along the way! We haven’t once had a bad meal of experience here, which is extremely rare in our city of tourist geared restaurants that could care less about return business. Pats on the back for everyone! Thanks!
Not vegetarian friendly, dirty counter space, chunks of steak in everything(rice, beans, etc).
It was pretty good… Comparable to Chipotle which is a plus because we were very disappointed to find out this area doesn’t have one. Spicy chicken is delicious! And their hot sauce has a nice kick! We will eat there again!
We are in town visiting from St. Pete Florida…we were looking for an inexpensive place to grab a quick bite to eat. It gave us that but the chicken was dry and the fish they had looked very unappetizing. It was also uncomfortably warm inside. The cleanliness was poor. Will not return and don’t reccomend it.
Overcharged on visit. I visited Barberitos tonight, December 8th, 2011. I was charged $6.80ish total for a $2.99 skinny taco that wasn’t even particularly great. I mentioned it, and they didn’t seem very concerned at all.Just be wary or this restaurant will overcharge or tack on additional charges like there’s no tomorrow.I didn’t receive a receipt, nor an offer to receive a receipt after using my credit card, either. This was my first visit, I don’t plan on going back and will recommend others not to either.
Heavy D lives up to its name. Tim and I were on our way to visit the recently arrived Landon Cole Miller at Memorial. We stopped for a burrito at Barberitos just as they opened at noon on Sunday. They were still getting things together, but knew they had to move fast for the Sunday after church crowd. You will not be disappointed by the size or flavor of your meal. The spicy chicken Heavy D with chipotle tortilla is pictured. There are many choices – envision Subway for burritos when ordering. After receiving the food – you can sauce your burrito with a selection of number different salsas – the verde is GREAT. The atmosphere is very fast food and there is no alcohol. However – the cooks put out well seasoned and huge proportion burritos very hard to complain.
