New Residents. Recent residents of Savannah (from Atlanta), my husband and I have been looking for the local gems. This place did not disappoint. Dinner for 2 overlooking the river. The service was prompt, the dinner absolutely delicious, and the appetizer & drinks were worth the visit by themselves. We’ll be making it a regular spot.
No Joke the best fried Shrimp I’ve ever had.
Delicious food. Friendly, fast service. And reasonably priced compared to others in the area.
Excellent Restaurant. We had the Mahi Mahi Po’ Boy and the ribeye, and both were excellent. The waiter was exceptional, helping us decide what beer to get (even brought samples). The fries with the Po’ Boy were much better than the average fast food fries that we get used to, and the vegetables that came with the steak were Julienne-cut, making them a great blend on the tongue. The restaurant’s atmosphere was great: not too bright or too loud.
Good food, good atmosphere. Everything we got here was yummy. The prices are a little high for just an everyday dinner, but good for a special occasion. The pimento cheese appetizer was good, and they have the best fried green tomatoes in town. Our server was a little on the sassy side for me, but still prompt and accurate and attentive. If you are looking for a bargain here go for one of the salads they are huge and fresh.

$$ Don’t be fooled. I took my family to Barracuda Bobs last weekend for dinner and everyone enjoyed their meals. The meals were Alaskan Crab legs, Seafood Trio, Shrimp au Gratin, and the Parmesan Crusted grouper. Each one was delicious and the mashed potatoes served with all but the crab legs were excellent. Portion sizes were small but filling. Stay away from the Fried Gator appetizer because portion size is not worth $10. My other complaint is that Bobs was listed as a $$ restaurant on this site and that was certainly not the case. The dinner entree price is more in the range of $18 – $25. Perhaps the average is based upon the sandwich menu or a lunch menu, but at dinner be prepared to drop some serious cash. I will still go back in the future but I will do so knowing that I am going to be looking at $20 entree’s.
