Great spot to eat in a prime location, the center of City Market, near live music (outside) and botique shops. Wine selection was better than average but not so long it is overwhelming. The wine by the glass selection was fairly limited. I ordered the she crab soup, a low country traditional soup. It was very but a bit too cheesey for my taste. I have had better. We ordered a large seafood sampler tray for appetizer that fed our group of 8 with leftovers. It included calamari, fish, crab cake, fried green tomatoes…and probably a couple other things. The shrimp and grits was a bit untraditional with the grits in a fried cake form. The shrimp were amazingly tender. The flavor was good but it was short on shrimp. The crab cakes entree came with two large crab cakes. The atmosphere was nice, upscale but you could come dressed up or in denim. I enjoyed the meal.

Great ambiance if you are looking for that, but the food is also very good. Had the NY Steak, w/ Wedge Salad, Asparagus, and Roasted Potatoes. The dining was made even better by an extremely friendly server who was extremely helpful with all the choices.

Very nice place!!! Had the muscles and the fried green tomatoes with a good glass of wine. Atmosphere is good the staff is great and the food was excellent.

A pleasant surprise and a legit, yummy crab cake. My expectations are lower when in a busy tourist area but we stopped in for a quick lunch and, though the service was slow due to what seemed a shortage of people in the kitchen, it was worth the wait. The lump crab cake was the real deal and the green bean side was perfect. Our other dishes were just as good, fresh and uniquely flavored. Even with the slow wait, and abundance of tourist traffic, I’d eat here again.

Our waitress was warm and friendly and the food was divine but I was disappointed in the presentation. For such a pricey dish, my crab cakes looked as if they had be thrown onto my plate and the sauce was splattered all over the side of the ramekin. The worst of all was how rushed they made us feel. We had been in the restaurant 55 minutes when we were brought the check. Very off putting.

All I had was calamari and water. Calamari was very spongy. I didn’t eat it all. I wouldn’t recommend it. Wait staff was good. The best thing I can say is the location is excellent.

I really enjoyed this restaurant right in the heart of City Market! It has a very fun, elegant atmosphere with outdoor seating and minor decor on the interior. During our visit we supposedly had a waiter in training but he did a great job and made some good recommendations. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and while the dipping sauce was delicious the calamari itself was a little soggy. The shrimp po’boy came with fries and cole slaw (all very good and quite filling) and a sauce to put on the sandwich for an extra little kick! The crab cake sliders (only came with two) and fries was also really but if you’re really hungry maybe you should go for the big crab instead. A little pricey for lunch but to be honest it’s nothing out of the norm for downtown Savannah. The menu didn’t have a ton of options so I would suggest looking at the menu first but I would definitely suggest giving it a try!
