Our Search Was Over…. On a recent short visit to Savannah in May, we were looking for a meal that tasted like home cooking. Someone recommended Chef Baptiste and his restaurant. Oh my goodness, it was a tasty treat. The food reminded us of the flavors we love and associate with soulful cooking. The combination of savory spices and seasonings made everything we tried truly satisfying. We were a lil sad when the meal was finished. We wished we could have stayed in Savannah longer and sampled more from the many items on the menu. The food was a well prepared, flavorful taste of some of my Island favorites. Meeting Chef Baptiste and being warmly welcomed made our lunch even more special. We enjoyed the food and his hospitality. Can’t wait to get back to Savannah and his restaurant again.
The name says it ALL! I ate there twice, yesterday and today. I really think I can eat there everyday. The food has been fresh each time and the staff is very friendly. If you’re searching for great Caribbean food.. The BEST Caribbean Cuisine is where you need to go! The prices are reasonable and they even have lunch specials. Military and law enforcement relieves a nice discount as well!!!! Love this place. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!
Some of the best food you will find in a strip mall!! Not what you would expect in Savannah – but oh so good!! Would go back. Loved the Jerk Salmon with the mango salsa.
Fantastic food and friendly staff. In a strip mall, but the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The food was delicious (Beef Legume with rice and a side of black beans). When I didn’t know what to order, thechef greeted me and offered his personal recommendation. I will gladly return!
It’s a small place in a strip mall but don’t be fooled – this is great! We asked the chef for his two favorites, and were very happy with our fish creole and beef legume. The sides are great – especially the Mac and cheese. If you order your creole hot, be ready because it is!! All in all a delightful place with great food and real friendly service.
Chef Baptiste and his crew are simply wonderful. The food is delicious. The customer service is impeccable. You will find every effort being given for your dining experience to reach perfection. Don’t forget to order the fresh, fabulous desserts!
You can’t eat here just once!. The atmosphere is great, the service is wonderful and the food in phenomenal. I’ve had the curry beef, jerk salmon, curry chicken, creole shrimp spaghetti and the homemade beef patties all were a taste of heaven. Great place to take a love one or friends.
