Food still good but where did the pies go. Just went back to betty’s for lunch and food was still excellent but what happened to the chocolate and cherry pies!

Really cute place reminiscent of WW2 era dinners. Good burgers and sandwishes with old school bottle cokes. Gravy fries were pretty tasty too. Will def be back.

Fantastic!. Ate there tonight for the first time. My daughter is a SCAD student and we were in Savannah helping her move into her new place. I had the pulled pork and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the burger and could barely finish it… it was huge. My daughter had chicken taco…. one of her favorites there. Chips and queso was delicious. Great service and great food. All at a great price! We’ll be back next time we’re in Savannah.

Awesome environment. Food was great and a lot of it. I hope they stay around!

The food was tasty but….. It seemed to take a very long time for it to be brought to us. Had to go back to the counter to ask for napkins. The pulled pork sandwich was really tasty but half of the meat fell out of the sandwich, and with no utensils in sight I used my fingers to finish it off. The staff we interacted with was friendly, but were possibly overwhelmed by the large number of people attending an event at Forsyth Park who made their way to the restaurant. Betty Bombers was a convenient place for lunch and the food was ok, not sure if I’d go out of the way to eat there.

Food was good and well priced! Most savannah restaurants are so overpriced. Atmosphere left a little to be desired.. Even with the ‘retro WWII ‘ theme it felt a little like a cafeteria. And not in a good way. A good place to go w friends or family when you’re not concerned with atmosphere. Bonus is you can get drinks from the American legion next door at happy hour prices during dinner!

Chicken Club!. Best relatively inexpensive meal I have had in Savannah in a while. The chicken club was perfectly humongous. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, swiss cheese added the right amount of tang and the bacon sent the whole thing into heaven. Whoever designed the menu here really has got a concept of flavor and balance. I was truly blown away. Our server (who admitted to not being Betty) was the perfect server for the restaurant. She was cheery and organized. She made sure we were happy and was excited to be there. The decor was perfect. Focused on it’s airforce theme but not cheesy at all. Drinks are available accross the hall from the legion and are able to be brought in to Betty’s at no extra charge. Our fries weren’t too salty and were delightfully crisp. Chicken tacos were balnced and memorable. Everything was great. But one menu item rose above the rest. The chili. I can’t say too much so You can experience the euphoria that my fiancee and I did but once you dive in to the velvety texture and smoky flavors that abound within your cup, yuo’ll wish you’d ordered a bowl. Can’t wait to go back! One constructive criticism would be lack of dessert options. This place would be an amzing place for a killer sundae, an amazing piece of pie, or just a giant slice of chocolate cake. Just something to top off one of our favorite meals of Savannah.
